DEAR APPLICANT:

Thank you for your interest in the Antioch Scholarship Program. Some important information you will need to know as you apply for this scholarship is as follows.

BACKGROUND & PURPOSE:

The Antioch Scholarship Foundation (ASF) was founded by Antioch Church of Philadelphia and offers a scholarship award of up to $1,000 to each recipient who is a college-bound high school senior or student in seminary school. Antioch Scholarship Foundation’s hope is to encourage young students to be involved in community work and Christian leadership. Up to 15 finalists from local high schools in Montgomery County and within the community will be awarded a one-time scholarship of up to $1,000 toward their higher education tuition or other academic expenses. 

Criteria for Scholarship Consideration:

The recipient of the scholarship must meet the following criteria(s):

●     College bound high school senior OR student in seminary school

●     Good academic standing with a GPA of 3.0 or higher

●     Involvement in community service and/or Church leadership

●     Student from local high schools within Montgomery County

●     Have not been a previous winner of the Antioch Scholarship

Required Materials:

Applicants must submit ALL of the following materials by May 19, 2024. INCOMPLETE APPLICATIONS WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED.

●     Completed application form

●     Personal essay of at least 350 words

●     TWO letters of recommendations (from principal, counselor/advisor, teacher, church pastor and/or community activity leader). Recommendations cannot be from the applicant's parent, or guardian.

●     Copy of official school transcript with GPA

Submission Methods:

1)    Submit all materials electronically to antioch.scholarship@gmail.com.

2)    Submit the completed application form and all documentation to Antioch Scholarship Foundation, One Antioch Avenue, Conshohocken, PA 19428. It must be postmarked by the submission date of May 19, 2024.
